Alfonso Parra is a renowned Spanish Cinematographers whose career is illustrated through many Spanish films such as: "verano Nubes"(2004),"Conejo al ajillo Peruana y Desolación"(2005),"Las bicicletas"(2006),"Días Azules"(2006),"Mujeres en el parque"(2006),"Pasito"(2007),"Elogio of the distancia"(2007),"Siete minutos" (2009) and many others. We thank Alfonso for sending us some pictures as well as a comment on his use of the  Alpha 18, on the TV fiction: "As do santo reliquias" Alfonso Parra, Cinematographer AEC : "A large part of the film took place in the nave and side parts of a Church. Therefore, it was necessary to provide a powerful light source which we could then diffuse. The Alpha 18kw proved to have an undeniable efficiency, first by its size and weight that allowed us to install it in tight high corners of the church which were accessible only through a narrow staircase. Its high luminous efficiency permitted to filter though gridcloth and diffusion with still a good amount of very soft light which filled all space of the buil- ding, and offered the necessary level for lighting the characters. I was pleasantly surprised by the alpha 18 soft white light, the quality of its enveloping sensation of the actors, less "metallic" than what I have experienced with other lighting fixtures.                                               Alpha 18K Note : Photos with kind permission of Bren Entertamient.
