| | With 6 Goya Awards for Best Cinematography, Javier Aguirrearobe A.E.C. is probably the most honored DP of the Spanish cinema. His talent has spread over the Atlantic and he shot a few foreign productions like Woody Allen’s “Vicky,Cristina,Barcelona”, “The Others” and episode 2 and 3 of the renown and extremely popular saga: “Twilight”
On “Vicky,Cristina,Barcelona”, Javier used the Alpha 4 and the Alpha 18K for the first time. He was kind enough to share his opinion:

“I wish to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your Alpha lights. Since you showed the 4k to me on the set of “Goya’s Ghost”, I was eager to give them a try. I must admit that they soon became a must in every situation.
Why? Because they are lightweight, easy to operate and produce a very beautiful light quality. I have never seen such an output and wide spread on any other Fresnel fixture. It was a big discovery and I intend to use the Alphas on my future projects”.
